The Porretta Terme Typographical Museum was founded in July 2015 by Dante Pisi, collecting passion, honesty and extremely professional material and machines dedicated to the world of printing, so as to give birth to a real museum.
The museum collects many made in Italy as well as international machines, from the nineteenth century on, through which it is possible to reconstruct the main stages of this fascinating art. The Typographical Museum is a cultural heritage to preserve and enhance for the benefit of the whole community. An evocative route in the history of printing, from the invention of the first machinery to our days.
It is possible to visit the museum on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 15.30 to 18.00.
